Even without checked bags your chances to make this connection are slim. While theoretically possible, i would never book it. You have to pass immigration and planes from EDI are usually remote parked and pax bussed to 2E. Add an additional 15 minutes to your transfer! You only make it, if you arrive ontime, can rush through immigration and run to the TGV station.
