This has happened to me, same words used in the rejection email from QR.

This was the problem with my claim, IIRC QR are after a 10 digit number. Your e-ticket number probably goes along the lines of something like this:
1571234567890-*
You need to remove the first three digits & the last hyphenated digit leaving you with:
1234567890
I believe this is the format QR are looking for.
If that doesn't work send them the stub, as I had to do once after miles from a LH flight didn't appear.
