Have you compared the excess baggage charges of other airlines for the same journey, or are you just basing your value of a "fair price" on the previously generous Qantas allowances?
i am comparing the extra baggage charges to the airlines i usually fly with VS QF and BA.
My concern is the huge difference! If the Fuel surcharge increases from $100 to $120 to $140 to $160 then this seems like an indication that the company are charging more for fuel and are increasing accordingly. If the fuel surcharge goes up from $100 to $500 to $1000 etc etc it seems like the company is taking the piss.
Qantas have changed the policy very very dramatically, its their choice as its mine to travel with them. Just a shame thats all
