Reasonable people can disagree on what's reasonable. The reality is that if DL made every customer "feel totally whole" for every injustice, indignity, weather delay, etc., airplane tickets would be much, much more expensive.
That is true. I was reading most of the lost luggage and weather delays complaints and saying Really? this person is complaining about that?
Delta has been Nice through this and helping us out. I'm not trying to Bash Delta on what happened whatsoever. If this was a simple situation like lost luggage or what not, I wouldn't post.
I guess I get bothered that Delta isn't matching or coming close to matching our expenses. Delta dollars would be great. Only Money value we asked for was for the PASSPORT they TORE and the phone bill.
And for those reading this, Always scan your passports and do not travel with a ripped passport.
