I doubt you will find any F10 M5s with a manual transmission sitting on dealer's lots. The US is the only country even getting the manual option (everywhere is is DCT only).
Dealers know the manual transmission will sit, especially in the M5, so they will probably only order it for a sold allocation.
With that being said, the new M5 is on my "short list" to replace my 2011 M3 sedan when the lease is up next year. If I go with it I'll have the DCT transmission.
The F10 5 series is pretty mediocre all around. I just came out of a 2012 535 while my 2010 535 (slightly modified

) was in for service. It's not even close to being the driver's car the E60 was. It beats in in comfort and luxury hands down but for fun... Blah. They took the soul out of it and if I wanted something fast that had no spirit I'd go for a Tesla S Performance.
The 6 series Gran Coupe looks gorgeous though. I think that's my next bimmer.
