Back then I used to give out Starbucks card Christmas gifts to all the tellers, after first checking with bank management.
I used to use one of those letter slitters that companies give out as advertising promos to open the boxes for the tellers. At the one bank I had to open them up all the rolls and throw them in a heavy coin bag with a deposit slip for them to take to the vault to run through the coin counter.
Fortunately RSB just took them rolled. I just gave them the open boxes and they counted the rolls of coins without me breaking them open.
I used to give the bank tellers coffee gift cards as well at Christmas and I would give the baristas at my coffee shop a roll of them for Christmas to split up. I also gave our UPS man a Christmas card with a coffee shop gift card as well as our building security man, so the coffee shop in my building did well thanks to the mint as well with all thge gift cards I bought people for handling the coins
I am sure a lot of Delta flyers are wishing the mint program would come back with the MQD's being waived for $25k in purchases on a Delta Am Ex.
