I think for some, the metal pull down safety bar ala roller coaster rides would be more apt. It's almost every flight I'm on nowadays that at least one individual will be up and out their seats a few seconds after landing (usually in the process of switching their mobiles on). If it weren't for the danger to other passengers I would be willing the Captain to slam on the brakes.

The offenders are nearly always the same profile i.e. the world revolves around them. One tries not to get infuriated by these people but it gets harder as time goes on.
