I have an itinerary on hold - pacific part is LAX-SYD and back SYD-MEL-LAX on VA. I called today DL to substitute outbound flight from SYD-MEL-LAX on VA to SYD-CAN-LAX on CZ. An agent told me that flights came with higher mileage (instead 450K now it is 585K Skymiles). How it can be? I thought that partners awards are available on the low mileage only. But agent was very positive about it.
