They should interline. You'll just need to show both tickets on check-in at BKK.

What sort and how much are you carrying in the way of liquids? Are you within the allowable amount? May be easier to just ditch the liquids, go carry-on all the way, and buy new liquids in San Fran?

TG is excellent with respect to carry-on, esp for bus and first class pax. I would not have thought you'll have any problems at BKK either at the point of the security check or from TG's staff.
