MoneyPass ATMs
Hi. I downloaded an APP to find "money pass" ATMs where you could withdraw funds from the bluebird card, either free if you do direct deposit or for $2 if you don't. It listed a PNC bank near me and gave me the address. I withdrew $400 and then saw I was charged the $2 as planned but also $3 for using the ATM. I called Bluebird customer service, they looked it up and reimbursed me the $3. I asked them how this happened and was asked "did the ATM have a moneypass logo on it?" I asked if it was possible that at the location provided by the app that there could be both moneypass and non-moneypass ATMs and they werent sure.
Anyone else have problems with moneypass ATMs shown by the APP charging fees?
