British Airways at Gatwick (update)

Just a quick update (February 2013) as to what is going on with the much-discussed short haul operation. As for moving plans, not much. LHR is full to the brim and LCY is not practical, however, we could see a slightly shifted operation as for long haul. Now, the most discussed: the fleet replacement. As many will know, the 737-400s have been nearing the end of their service for some time now. In summer, a few a319's were drafted in from LHR to help with the increased capacity (this is because 734s are having technical problems all to often). I once was put on a titan airways charter because our 734 had a problem. I am not sure if the 319's are here to stay though. The BMI fleet (merged) is in storage, there is no sign of getting them out but it could happen. If you know any more updates, please post. Anwar.
