Why can't I get seat assignment (on a US Airways Shuttle Codeshare Flight)?
I am flying United LGA to DCA in April. This was booked through a travel agent. Neither she nor I are able to book seats. We get a message to book seats at the airport. Why would this be? One other note is that the reservation says this is operated by US Air.

It is a short flight but I don't want to be in a terrible seat.
