Don't know if this will be similar, but Canada has kiosks in YVR, I think its for Canadian citizens only (at least, right now). I've only used it once (because I usually use Nexus). There is separate line with several kiosks available.

You still have to fill out the paper form before arriving. But IIRC, you scan the passports, then insert the completed customs form, which the machine keeps. It confirms your info and spits out a receipt. You then take the receipt to the single officer at the end of the line (at least, there was only one when I arrived). Asked a few questions and then on the way. There were several people using the kiosks, but only a line of like 2 people to see the officer. Pretty simple and easy.

Though still not as good as Nexus or GE.
