In a word, yes!

I fly a lot in economy (thanks work) and being a Silver member makes such a big difference it's unbelievable.

My membership renews at the end of June each year and my schedule is such, I always end up having to pay myself to upgrade my last flight of the year to Club Europe to retain it.

So I usually end up spending about £130 myself to stay Silver but it's very much worth it.
