So, I'm a non-elite with UA and booked a saver award trip for the 3 of us to KOA in July. Economy Plus is wide open and wondering if UA begins discounting the upgrade costs the closer you get to departure if the seating remains wide open?

I realize we're a long ways away from July which helps to explain why there's only a handful of EP seats occupied at this point. Just wondering if this cost comes down the closer we get considering this may not be a very heavy elite route (less chance for elites taking all the EP).
