Which would you chose? When reading more about the HHonors program it seems to be much better than Marriotts. I am currently GOLD with Marriott and am thinking about switching over to Hilton. Suggestions?
If you stay at hotels quite a bit it might not be a factor but if you plan on earning your miles through credit card bonuses and spending it's Hilton all the way. Hilton has a no annual fee Amex and Visa with ~50K signup bonuses that are both churnable. They also have a Reserve card ($95 AF) which provides gold status and 2 free nights and a The Hilton Surpass Amex ( AF) is another option. You can also transfer signup bonuses from cards such as Hawiian Air ( 1 mile = 2 HH points) all while staying clear of Chase. Being a Amex holder also entitles you to AXON awards which can be 145K points for 4 nights in a Cat 7 hotel
As most people know dealing with Chase cards ( Marriott) can be much more difficult
