Thanks for the wonderful trip report, as usual! I consider Lufthansa's Boeing 747-400 first class seat with the bed the best first class product offering out in the market. Having a real bed makes a big different, even compared with all these suites, enclosed or not. Of course the design is great too. Just wish the transit experience at Frankfurt can be better!

I agree with you about the facilities at Las Vegas McCarran airport. The airport has actually okay restaurants and food outlets, but they are so spread out. With so many slot machines constantly making noises, you feel disoriented sometimes. However the United Club at LAS actually looks very nice. I don't think I will ever have the chance to visit it, but looks pretty good given US airline lounge standard.
