Are we talking about the same Four Points Midtown? If so, you should have mentioned the rooms are TINY and CLAUSTROPHOBIC. Having stayed there, I speak from experience. Just check out the square footage advertised online - 190-215 square feet! No room can be considered nicely designed if it's that small. Better to stay at the Element.
Or at the Aloft Harlem. Small rooms, but W style. Far cheaper than midtown (if paying cash) and very convenient via ABCD subway trains.
