Are your sure that your 11 monther will fit the bassinet?? The vast majority of airlines, your baby would be far too big for it. Most only go to about 6 months of age.

Lufthansa's on the 747 can fit a year old child. They are the exception.

Also, airlines often prioritize these seats, sometimes at the airport.

Unless it's Lufthansa or another airline with a very high weight limit, sounds like your lap baby will be on your lap. I would recommend the bulkhead seats because at that age, they can be really wiggly and bulkhead means not disturbing the row in front of you with kicking.

Check that those are not emergency exit rows. Usually anyone under age 15 is not allowed to sit there.
