OAK security probably wouldn't be an issue

for future reference (and a few more miles), AS goes DCA-SEA-PDX-OAK/SJC for approx $140 (and I have seen DCA-LAX-SEA-SJC on a couple days in Mar for approx $167)

It's not SFO but you can "position" for OAK/SJC on BART or Caltrain.

everything I've seen originating in the Bay Area on AS requires overnight at DCA (the 6am departures route thru PDX arriving 530pm, but there aren't any late evening return flights to SFO/SJC/OAK from SEA) ... you'd have to start on DL at 630pm, arriving DCA by 10am (via SLC over JFK/ATL; via LAX over JFK/MSP/ATL/DTW, possibly CVG or MEM depending on seasonal ops), then DCA-SLC-home around 430pm ar 930pm (there are probably MSP/DTW/ATL/CVG options leaving between noon and 3pm on the way to SLC)
