Last time I flew to heathrow and went into London I was going to King Cross.
The Piccadilly Line set me back of the order of £2 with young persons railcard.
It was direct and took little more than an hour. It departs T5 every 10 minutes.
Heathrow connect requires a change at Heathrow Central, is only once every half hour, takes 25 minutes before Paddington and then would have required a tube journey on the circle/H&C lines. Costing more, more faff and possibly no faster.
