I'd caution you on the HoJo. To call it tired would be an understatement. If you are looking for a nice property, I would suggest the Hotel Commonwealth - it's an easy walk to Fenway.

Other hotels in Back Bay are not far from Fenway either - Sheraton Boston or Marriott Copley are a few T stops away.
