I have tried to book PDX/DFW a few times as a code share on the AS site because I want AS to get the money. BUt every time I try its always much more money on the AS site than the AA site. The one time there was a super cheap flight I needed PDX/LaX/AUS when I booked it on the AS site it said fare not available. So I have learned when travelling AA use their site and when travelling AS use the AS site.

BTW I have an AA flight to DFW next week and they charged me to get the preferred seats. 20 minutes of arguing that I am an Alaska Gold and they shouldn't be, I folded and let it be. I was told by the supervisor the benefits are only one way as in AA folks get benefits on AS but not the other way around. Hopefully this announcement will hit the AA call center and end that issue which arose when AA changed thier website a month or so ago.
