Tradition and my experience have it that Ft. Worth, less heavily populated with Carpetbaggers, corporate refugees, nomadic car salesfolk, and assorted undesirable neighbors convinced of their own self-worth, is a far friendlier place. There's substantial wealth, much of it individually held and controlled by folks less likely to feel compelled to describe it to you. The Great Wall of Arlington was erected and populated by those in Ft. Worth anxious to keep Dallasites at bay.
