I suggest focusing on how good the staff were at resolving things and make the tone of the letter complimentary. Actually I did search on the Internet re; compensation and there is a Delta's document that precisely specify amount of compensation based on hours of delay and distance flown. The compensation is in ISL (Israeli Shekel). Mine delay would be worth 815.00 USD
