I have a stay coming up this weekend. I'm in the middle of a Platinum challenge, but due to some inconvenient timing I don't think I will post as PLT by the time we check in. We might have a chance to cancel and stay in a few weeks, but that's a little risky for our schedule. Should we just keep what we have and hope for some type of upgrade with gold?
At this hotel I have received good service by phoning in advance and asking about paying an upcharge for an upgrade as a gold- I can't recall how much money however it was reasonable enough that I said yes. As long as there is not a special event on the hotel is very accommodating in this way.
