I think that for the age of the SGS it is a very well kept hotel. I have always noted how clean the property is kept. Yes it is due a refit which will come and to be fair to the management they really have tried several prototypes so are looking to nail it on the head when it is started.

While there are new propertied in BKK like the W and St. Regis the level of service provided at this property with its vast experience is for me like an old friend. I am not saying that the other properties are not also excellent but this one IMHO is the best.

PS: I love the pool area, only downside is that when busy its hard to get a space but an oasis in the middle of BKK.
