Huh? What sarcasm? The sarcastic response would be more like:
"5000 Avios, that's not half way enough. I think BA should have invited all the J passengers on that flight to a 3 course meal at the savoy grill. After all they missed out on vital chocolates and crisps"
I do think the OP has received an unwarranted hard time because he is such a determined Avios collector. And some have made unfounded assumptions about him. But taking umberage at our mods and forum for no apparant reason hardly helps!
No wonder many stay away from here. You'll be pleased to know I will from now on.
