So, I don't know if I just got "lucky" this time around, or if perhaps it just took an extra business day for my GE number to make it through UA's systems. It is all a moot point anyway since CLE doesn't have pre-check yet.
I've been told it takes "24 hours" for an approved GE number to make it into whatever system TSA uses. Most likely, "24 Hours" means next business day which since you were approved on a Friday would mean Monday. So that it was now Monday is probably why you got the 3 finally.
From what I was told, this delay is on the TSA side, not the UA side.
