I guess everyone wants to make things work in their favor. For me they work perfect, I fly 3-4 times a year and only really have a chance to visit a club once or twice a year since I mainly fly in and out of smaller airports. It makes no sense to make a full membership or pay 450 for a CC. So the 25$ day passes work perfect.
