As for the Concord Etoile, it is right across the street from the Le Meridien. So if you want to know about the area, just read the comprehensive LM thread in the Starwood forum. One neat feature is the AF bus which parks right in front of this new Hyatt, non-stop from CDG. It's best days are in the past, but with a room refurb, (using that Qatari money?) it should be a decent property. And there is a Club Med gym onsite, which LM guests use often. Not sure if that will stay if they renovate. There is also a huge conference center so I expect this hotel to remain mainly a business/conference hotel. It's not super convenient for tourism, but it's a short walk to the metro so it can be done.
Do you all really mean only Amex FHR rate program or mix it up with LHW?
Martinez is a LHW member, but I think Hyatt will withdraw it, as I don't know any Hyatt that's an LHW member.
