That's correct. I've often wondered how EI feel about it but its never been a problem. A couple of years ago I got to the end of my membership year and I had 2 unused upgrade vouchers. I posted a message on another well known forum asking if anybody wanted to use them (to be used within four weeks). My only stipulations were that only those people with a history of posting to the forum were eligible and they had to promise that they would not act in such a way that I would regret my offer. It all turned out fine and very thankful the recipient was too. EI GC admin never batted an eyelid.
