I got a promo email from Cathay offering me a (plush) snake (toy) if I booked a flight online originating in the U.S.

I know it's the Year of the Snake and Cathay's plush toy is really cute, but really. Hasn't anyone in the Marketing Department seen, or heard of, Snakes on a Plane?

I wonder if one's Cathay Snake will be a permitted carry-on item?

I must admit, I want one. But we already booked our Cathay flight for later this year, so no snake for me.
