Maybe not dirty but they are ghastly.

The first time I stayed at the SGS I found the rooms tired, the public areas crowded and the pool more of a landscaping exercise than a great place to swim.

What i did like was easy access to the BTS and Terminal 21 as a good place to eat or catch a movie.

Second time around the first drawbacks still there and Terminal 21 wasnt such a buzz having been there done that. Whilst I do agree it is a good hotel in many respects and the service is excellent most of the time the value doesnt stack up against the other choices in BKK.
