I just got off of the phone and it took the agent a while to find the method to honor the 150%. She then put me on hold for 35 minutes and came back saying her system is giving her problems and if I could call back. Yeah, I guess I can call back. I too wish there was an easier way than doing this by phone. I have 6 flights in January (x2 people) missing the extra % and on 3 different airline partners. I can tell this is not going to be easy.
No, it is not easy. I am sure this is intentional. The agent I spoke to today was clueless with regard to this situation. I too had a long hold time while the agent spoke to a supervisor. When she came back on the line she denied, denied, denied that such an offer was ever made because "we have no memo about this". I mentioned that the offer to honor the original PQM/PQS was made in a public forum, in writing, by a Shannon Kelly. Again, I was put on hold for another 10 minutes. This time when the agent came back I was told they they could not find any documentation regarding this offer and that I "should not believe everything I read online".

Really, really United?

Finally the agent relented and agreed to post the miles "as a one time favor".

Gee, thanks.

Now, I log into my account to verify the posting and I see that my SQ flights have earned an additional 25% REDEEMABLE miles, not PQM.

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. Come on United, pull it together. Now I have to spend another hour on the phone straightening this out. Or, I could just surrender to the dAArkside and be done with it. It is all just so Jeff'd up.
