If you go through the green lane it's a rare sight indeed that anyone looks in your luggage. I've never seen anyone there (e.g. Customs folks) though I am sure they are spying from somewhere. It's unlike in BKK where locals with a luggage cart with 6 suitcases will get pulled aside for an X-ray. Even in the green lane.
