First I have to admit seeing this thread made me realize that I needed to call about an Asiana flight in A class only posting 100% from a flight on 1/1 but I hadn't seen Shannon's post until after I finished the call. I appreciate her honesty but am frankly not surprised about the multiple oversights with both the transition to the wrong levels and then the lack of communication about an upcoming change.
First call got me to India. I guess that's what happens when you say agent right away and don't get to input your MP number. I was told that I had been given more credit on my previous JFK-ICN flight than on my LAX-ICN return because it is a longer distance. Thanks for the geology lesson

(to be fair she was very polite and nice throughout the call but entirely clueless).
Second call got me to the US after dealing with the annoying computer guy for five minutes where another very polite agent told me that she had to check with a supervisor because they had no control over PQM posting. When she came back to me 5 minutes later they had posted the extra PQMs. I'm assuming that no documentation of ticketing was necessary since the outbound was in December and the return was on the 1st (the day the policy was implemented and technically right around when the flight left Seoul around midnight in the US on the 31st). All in all a painless experience the second time around and I was pleasantly surprised to get the credit until I came back and saw Shannon's post. But at least I am 3k PQM closer to next year's requal!
