The issue lies in I was advised by my PL agent that I had to contact the hotel to 'pre-arrange' transfers. I do not interpret 'pre-arrange' as 'prepay', and there was no further information attached to this. I'm recommending that they clearly state the exact policy, use the term 'pre-pay' and include all other relevant information.

I took the inititive and sent the hotel my flight information yesterday for my stay later this month. Today I see a pending charge from them on my credit card which I'm guessing are the transportation fees. However, this is not the credit card I plan to use to pay for charges while I'm there.
I would like to go back to the hotel advising them of the policy update you are reffering to if the GM indicated this would be the policy going forward.
I guess they've finally gotten to processing Feb stays. The hotel has had my flight info for more than 2 weeks but I just saw the pending charge today after seeing your post. I don't have an issue with the CC but don't appreciate the fact that they simply used the CC on file w/o asking for authorization.
On a (semi)related note, can anyone confirm that they successfully got the bonus points (3 in total per $ spent) on the Hyatt card? The reason I ask is that the pending charge is coded as coming from Alilla resort with no mention of Hyatt.
