Even then, we had ants on the daybed so we used the main pool instead. There was an army for 4 days leading to a tree next to our villa
We were in 19 too and agree the day bed was not usable. We used the pool lots though, no ants there
Previously stayed in 12 which had no ant issues at all
Ymmv, but it's a small tropical island, this kind of thing is inevitable
