I fully concur on the Harmony One (not the new Touch). I had spent years, through many AV setups, programming multiple MX-500s with custom macros, chaining discrete codes via hex values, etc., etc.
With the Harmony, I entered the devices I had, the functions I wanted, and the order for them to appear, on the website, and voila. A little bit of fine tuning and just about everything I need is one touch or one button away.
The 650 is almost as good, at a much lower price point, as long as you only have 5 devices to control. I have one programmed as a backup for when the One isn't charged.
