I also recommend the Harmony One remote. Use the activities feature and click "Watch DVD" and it will power on the tv, switch to the correct HDMI input on your tv, set your stereo receiver appropriately, power on the dvd player, etc. Click "TiVo" and it will power off the dvd player, switch inputs again, etc. It all happens automatically. I've used their remotes for years and they are pretty slick.
