1. If you are a slightly picky eater, bring your own food - food is really hit or miss in terms of whether or not it is served FEBO. I am a big fan of being prepared and then being pleasantly surprised if the entree is edible.

2. Bring your own pashmina/throw/large beach towel if you are planning a nap and expect a blanket. I use my down vest as a pillow. It packs to nothing. I believe DL still offers blankets and pillows in premium classes - AS does not.

3. Meal service is well presented. Do not expect to see the FAs much other than that. They tend to disappear into the galley. On occasion I have had to get up to get a water. If you require a lot of water, buy your own in the airport. 2nd service of Hot nuts appear around 4 hours into flight. Again, if you are not a fan, bring your own snack.

4. Digiplayers are fine for entertainment if you love older movies or 24. I bring my own entertainment.
5. It's the destination (at least outbound), not the journey.
