The StR is very good value for Money (not Points . The area is good and definitely less busy than Sukhumvit. You're right, the area around LM is very busy. The pool at StR is OK and was way less busy than SGS when I stayed there during the weekend. I couldn't even get a sunbed and someone's kid was playing on my table for about 10 minutes. Parents couldn't Care less... And staff did not intervene either.

SGS rooms are in urgent need of a facelift. The Grande Suite that I had was nothing but a combo of two rooms. In terms of rooms both StR and LM win hands down.
