Question BA knowingly mis-selling Club Europe?

I recently booked LGW-SKG in Club Europe, and at the time of booking the aircraft for this was listed as a 734. This has since changed to an A319, and judging by the seatmap this is planned to be one of the ex-BMI aircraft. On BA's own booking pages Club Europe (or Business Class as the pop-up prefers to call it) is sold as having a 34 inch seat pitch: as I understand it these ex-BMI A319s are 31 inches throughout.

So, is it fair to say that BA are being very naughty indeed by advertising 3 inches more room on a flight they currently plan to operate on an aircraft that can't actually offer it? And what do we reckon the likely outcome of an enquiry or complaint about this will be? Obviously I realise that the A319 will have a rather fresher ambiance than a well-worn 734, but to me this seems like quite a significant difference in the product advertised and what's actually provided.

(Oops, please excuse the extra "e" in the topic title!)
