Managed to answer my own question, in a word: no !

Got this response from the hotel which may be useful to others:
"As per your email,you are arriving by International flight and your next flight is to LCC terminal.
Did you have luggage to be collect upon arrival? If yes,you will not be able to stay with us because
this hotel located inside International Departure Hall within the transit area before immigration.
If you clear the immigration so you won't be able to enter the international transit area again.
