From what I've seen (including HNL/LIH out of SJC), you can have a POG mimosa before takeoff, a quasi-Hawaii-themed meal, and they come through the whole plane with mai tais about 2/3 of the way through the flight. There are also orchids in the FC lav, Hawaii-themed cocktail napkins, and different graphics on the printed menu. Is that enough to make it exciting? Maybe not, but I like the small touches.
