Yeah this was what was disappointing to me. Was looking at KUL - REP and the taxes took it to a point where it was almost as cheap just to buy the ticket and significantly cheaper if I coudl put up with LCCT and AirAsia.
Pretty much worthless compared to say Dragonair. I guess one of the problems is it isn't a particularly expensive airline in the first place.
Am I correct that BA are tagging on their 'fuel' surcharge to flights they aren't even operating? Surprised this isn't borderline fraud.
