Gatwick really has become a pleasure to travel to/from. They have a huge and very public focus on customer experience stats and they are delivering one them. North terminal looks great, valet parking is very easy but I dislike how little choice you have of places to eat landslide. South terminal airside still boarded up in some areas and immigration takes longer than I would like (UK passport holder). Always look to pick LGW over LHR when travelling for pleasure - Virgin's clubhouse is great at Gatwick but not a patch on Heathrow. Also like the recently rebranded Gatwick Premium - actual Fast Track security.
