Hello !

I'm flying to Kuala Lumpur in May and have a 10 hour gap between two flights.

I'll need to go to the low cost terminal for an airasia flight which I'm pretty sure I'll need to clear customs for and then travel down the road to as there is no link between the two - so not sure it's a "transit" officially.

The problem is that I'll land at around 8am but midnight bodyclock time so really could do with some sleep. There is a transit hotel in KLIA and I wanted to know if anyone is aware of whether or not I can make use of this airside hotel that does day rates or whether I'd need to show some sort of evidence of an onward flight departing from that terminal (I'm not clear whether the transit area is actually separate or anyone can just walk in, having never transited before!).

I'm hoping I can just make use of it
