Do you guys think I should try this? I'm flying the p.s. service from jfk to sfo leaves at noon jfk arrives at 3:21pm sfo. That's an award ticket and I'm in business. I have to get to Sacto and the next flight leaves at 4pm. Usually these are ua. express flights leaving out of the T1. I'm not checking any bags. the next flight to smf doesn't leave until 745 or something like that and I wouldn't want an awful 4hr plus connection time. Should I risk it? Those UA express flights are often delayed too. Since one is paid and one is award, I can avoid the min connection time rules. and if i do miss it cause of a delayed first segment, would they let me fly a ltr one without a fee? i have no status. oh and it's in june so weather delay should be less of an issue (i hope) advice?

in case you are wondering, there is rarely if ever saver avail on the sfo smf segment.
